Has your natural stone or tile and grout been sealed correctly? Here is a test for you to try.

Step 1: Take a spoonful of water, pour it on the hard surface you want to test, including the grout. (if applicable)

Step 2: Wait for 15 minutes

Step 3: Visual Test – Did the water absorb? Did the color change?

Step 4: Using a clean white absorbent cloth, dab the excess moisture.

Step 5: Touch Test – Does the tile or grout feel wet? Does the moisture still feel evident?

If you ansered yes to any of the above questions, your hard surfaces are sealed correctly and are vunerable to staining. Your hard surfaces can become permanently stained by food, oil and beverage spills. If your grout and stone isn’t sealed, you’re flirting with disaster.

Not only will your hard surfaces look great and be protected, they will be much easier to clean.
